Base Salary
$107k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production AI agents for product analysis, requirements capture, UI prototyping, backlog generation, and automated code implementation with pull request creation.
- Implement multi-agent workflows with Google Agent Development Kit, sub-agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop approval gates, and agent-to-agent messaging.
- Integrate Gemini and Anthropic Claude through enterprise gateways using prompt engineering and structured tool or function calling.
- Connect agents to Engineering & AI Product Documentation, JIRA, GitHub, and other enterprise systems through MCP-style interfaces.
- Build RAG pipelines using vector search, embeddings, and clustering, along with evaluation harnesses for faithfulness, relevancy, hallucination rate, and task completion.
- Develop asynchronous Python and FastAPI services backed by PostgreSQL, while maintaining observability, CI/CD, containerized deployments, secure coding, guardrails, and automated tests.
Requirements
- Requires 3–7 years of hands-on software engineering experience and 5+ years for PhD holders, with a record of shipping production software.
- Requires strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, operating systems, networking, and relational database design and optimization.
- Requires advanced Python, including asynchronous programming, typing, and dependency management, together with automated testing, version control, and CI/CD practices.
- Requires hands-on LLM application development, prompt engineering, structured tool or function calling, structured outputs, and multi-agent or agentic frameworks.
- Requires practical RAG experience with vector databases and embedding-based retrieval, structured LLM or agent evaluation methods, and integration with external tools through structured interfaces.
- Requires working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Google ADK or comparable orchestration experience, observability tooling, Go, React, TypeScript, ChromaDB, pgvector, HDBSCAN, HashiCorp Vault, SSO/JWT authentication, GitHub, JIRA, and documentation-search integrations.
