Responsibilities
- Design and evolve API architecture, including contracts, versioning, security, and observability.
- Develop and maintain REST and/or gRPC APIs and implement unit, integration, and contract testing.
- Break product features into technical tasks and actionable work.
- Maintain DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, monitoring, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Platform, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
- Support incident resolution and root-cause analysis while identifying technical risks, dependencies, and technical debt.
- Mentor peers and contribute to sprint planning, technical refinement, and engineering-quality improvements.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience as a .NET API developer.
- Proven experience designing, building, and consuming REST and/or gRPC APIs.
- Deep knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger, contract testing, API gateways, security best practices, and API data privacy and audit considerations.
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
- A strong background as a senior engineer or API specialist delivering API-centric products in agile teams.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, modern architectures, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to collaborate with Enterprise Architecture on technical standards.
- Spanish, interoperability standards, cross-domain integrations, regulatory or compliance exposure, enterprise SaaS, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability/APM experience are preferred or advantageous.
