Base Salary
$206k - $309k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction and influence across multiple Streaming Hub Applications engineering teams.
- Define and drive long-term technical strategy in partnership with Engineering, Product, and Enterprise Architecture.
- Lead architectural initiatives and establish standards for scalability, reliability, maintainability, APIs, and engineering consistency.
- Drive modernization of software development and delivery practices, including feature-controlled deployments, automated testing, observability, and operational readiness.
- Provide technical leadership for cloud and infrastructure strategy, including multi-cloud architecture, resiliency, disaster recovery, and infrastructure cost optimization.
- Lead strategic technical investments and refactoring to reduce technical debt and operational complexity.
- Lead adoption of AI-assisted software engineering practices and reusable patterns for AI agents and developer workflows.
- Provide design review and technical oversight for large, complex, and cross-team initiatives.
- Use design reviews, operational readiness reviews, and incident learnings to improve engineering quality and performance.
- Mentor senior engineers and develop technical leaders across organizational and team boundaries.
- Oversee software development, testing, deployment, release processes, project planning, and resource allocation.
- Create development documentation, monitor performance metrics, and partner with Quality Assurance to ensure software quality.
- Work variable schedules, including nights and weekends, as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Comcast may consider coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience in place of the stated degree.
- 15 years or more of relevant work experience.
- Experience with systems design engineering, enterprise architecture, operational excellence, technical leadership, AI systems, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Computing.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required.
