Base Salary
$206k - $309k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical leadership and influence across multiple Streaming Hub Applications and Application Infrastructure teams.
- Define and drive long-term technical strategy in partnership with Engineering, Product, and Enterprise Architecture.
- Lead cross-cutting architecture initiatives and establish standards for scalability, reliability, maintainability, APIs, and engineering consistency.
- Modernize software development and delivery practices, including automated testing, observability, operational readiness, and feature-controlled deployments.
- Provide technical leadership for cloud and infrastructure strategy, including multi-cloud architecture, resiliency, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Lead strategic technical investments and refactoring to reduce technical debt and operational complexity.
- Provide design review and technical oversight for large, complex, and cross-team initiatives.
- Mentor senior engineers and develop technical leaders across organizational boundaries.
- Improve developer productivity, onboarding, engineering velocity, quality, and operational performance.
- Oversee software design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, release processes, project planning, and resource allocation.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure software meets technical specifications and customer expectations.
- Monitor performance metrics and use incident learnings to guide continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Comcast may consider coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience instead.
- 15+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with software engineering principles, people management, and AWS Cloud Computing.
- Ability to provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams and drive architectural strategy.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required.
