Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations between D365 Finance & Operations and external or third-party applications.
- Build solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, and API Management.
- Develop D365 F&O integrations using Data Entities, OData, DMF, Business Events, REST APIs, and Custom Services.
- Design synchronous, asynchronous, and event-driven integration solutions with data transformation, exception handling, retries, logging, monitoring, and security.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and client teams to translate requirements into technical integration designs.
- Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, deployment, troubleshooting, and post-implementation reviews across project environments.
- Participate in Dynamics 365 consulting implementation and R&D projects, including documenting results and identifying best practices.
- Apply governance, compliance, and security frameworks and report progress on R&D projects.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of relevant development or integration experience, including hands-on experience with D365 F&O or Dynamics AX.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Integration Services, especially Service Bus, Functions, and API Management.
- Strong knowledge of D365 F&O integration frameworks, including Data Entities, OData, DMF, Business Events, and REST APIs.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, data transformation, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, Microsoft Entra ID, service principals, Azure Key Vault, error handling, monitoring, retries, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, and CI/CD, plus strong client-facing communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include X++ and D365 F&O extension framework knowledge; C#/.NET experience; Azure Data Factory, Event Grid, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor experience; enterprise-platform integration experience; EDI/B2B and high-volume integration knowledge; and relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Azure certifications.
- Ability to work across technical and functional teams, demonstrate customer focus and accountability, solve problems, and travel when required.
