Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain virtualization platform features at the Linux kernel and driver level.
- Support migration from Intel to ARM architecture for a high-performance cloud database solution running on AWS.
- Participate in functional and architectural design discussions and evaluate technical implementation options.
- Develop concurrent systems for multi-core and multi-threaded environments with attention to performance and reliability.
- Contribute to code reviews and established software development practices.
- Estimate features, break down complex tasks, report readiness and quality, and suggest technical improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ANSI C programming.
- Strong knowledge of low-level systems development and memory management.
- Solid experience with Linux kernel development, POSIX environments, driver development, and Linux system internals.
- Proven experience with multi-core and multi-threaded programming and safe, efficient concurrent systems.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including technical documentation.
- Ability to research and learn quickly, collaborate effectively, and adapt to new technical challenges.
