Responsibilities
- Develop focused test plans and design test plans for future requirements.
- Execute complex test cases, maintain test records, and perform peer reviews of test plans.
- Use automated test scripts and interpret automation results.
- Set up and maintain testing environments.
- Perform functional testing across browsers and devices, as well as non-functional testing including security, performance, and PCI compliance.
- Investigate and reconstruct complex customer issues into clear proofs for development teams.
- Identify quality issues in build, packaging, and deployment processes before code reaches QA environments.
- Collaborate with technology and development teams to resolve issues and meet project goals.
- Provide technical leadership, coordinate work, mentor team members, and promote teamwork.
- Recognize product functionality expertise and use customer and technology knowledge to assess product quality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a test engineer.
- Proven experience designing test plans and creating test solutions.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and its deliverables.
- Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Experience with test repositories such as TestLink.
- Understanding of test automation execution and results interpretation.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems, browsers, and server technologies.
- Proficiency in functional testing across browsers and devices.
- Proficiency in non-functional testing, including security, performance, and PCI compliance.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Strong analytical, creative-thinking, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with QA industry-standard best practices and methodologies, customer-service focus, and self-motivation.
