Base Salary
$250k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Stand up new services that improve the safety, reliability, and accuracy of access control systems.
- Examine, improve, and challenge existing modalities of access control management.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver value to customers from start to finish.
- Design MVPs with strong technical foundations and iterate based on product feedback.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of software engineering or coding experience.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs at scale (REST, GraphQL, JSON/HTTP).
- Production expertise with TypeScript or Kotlin, including debugging complex issues.
- A product mindset focused on usability, performance, and measurable impact.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces and taking ownership of outcomes.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts and architecting fault-tolerant systems.
- Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals and design patterns.
