Responsibilities
- Develop web-based, cloud-based, and API-based software solutions that secure data in SaaS applications.
- Design, deploy, debug, and optimize scalable, highly available, performant, and cost-effective AWS solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers and architects to analyze requirements and create standardized end-to-end solutions.
- Estimate, prioritize, and plan project deliveries.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and coordinate with development and product teams on resolution.
- Document user stories, use cases, functional specifications, and designs.
- Participate in weekly code reviews and assess the impact of programmable and logical code changes.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience designing and developing native cloud or API-based software solutions.
- Strong Java coding skills and experience designing and scaling solutions with AWS.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale and cloud components using microservices architecture.
- Ability to translate problem statements into software designs and implementations.
- Experience working with both NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Strong object-oriented skills and the ability to create clean interfaces at appropriate levels of abstraction.
- Python programming and machine learning knowledge are preferred.
- Ability to work with demanding customers and resolve issues across teams.
