Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery workshops and technical deep-dives to clarify objectives and identify constraints.
- Design and implement Microsoft Purview and collaboration security solutions based on client requirements.
- Deliver clear, decision-oriented client-facing documentation including problem statements and recommendations.
- Present recommendations to client stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
- Run technical working sessions and coordinate dependencies across stakeholders and internal teams.
- Participate in governance cadences and support change control practices for production-impacting modifications.
- Provide structured handoff and knowledge transfer, including runbooks and operational guardrails.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft security and compliance engineering in a client-facing environment.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 collaboration security capabilities.
- Experience with Defender for Office 365 and the security posture of Microsoft collaboration tools.
- Strong understanding of compliance, information protection, and governance concepts.
- Ability to assess environments and design remediation approaches balancing risk and usability.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to present options and tradeoffs to clients.
- Operational discipline in documentation and implementation planning.
