Base Salary

$138k - $266k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver high- and low-level architectures and designs for business-critical global products and platforms.
  • Set technology and architecture direction, lead architecture governance, and own end-to-end delivery through adoption and operations.
  • Build business relationships, translate requirements into architecture blueprints and roadmaps, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies, buy/build analyses, vendor evaluations, hands-on proofs of concept, and solution design reviews.
  • Collaborate with engineering, platform, infosec, product, and project teams to deliver scalable, reusable, secure, and reliable solutions.
  • Lead or support global architecture teams, mentor development teams, and promote technical standards, experimentation, and emerging technologies.
  • Support product and project managers with planning, forecasting, estimation, cost, risk, and quality decisions.
  • Review implementation artifacts and contribute to architecture, development, design, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or Economics.
  • 15+ years of overall IT industry experience and 5+ years in a solution or technical architect role using private or public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
  • Proven architecture leadership experience across large-scale global products or platforms, including complex portfolios, distributed teams, and full lifecycle delivery.
  • Expertise designing and developing distributed, scalable products and platforms using reusable services, containers, and hybrid or multi-platform clouds, with Microsoft Azure preferred.
  • Expert-level skills in multiple programming and scripting languages, SQL and NoSQL databases, big-data processing, data analytics, machine learning, and authentication and authorization technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of application, infrastructure/cloud, integration, data, and security architecture, as well as microservices, event-driven architecture, data streaming, data transformation, and analytics.
  • Ability to perform hands-on technology delivery, communicate effectively with business partners, and work with culturally diverse global teams.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft or Azure, TOGAF, AWS Cloud Certified, Pivotal, CISSP, Zachman, ITIL, Cisco, ISC2, CEH, SAFe, PMI, and SAP certifications.
  • Experience with low-code/no-code, generative AI, data reporting, data management and governance, mobile applications, and cloud security is desirable.
