Base Salary
$200k - $244k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with product and design to define problems, shape solutions, and write specifications.
- Build and refine systems that source, match, and surface personalized offers.
- Own Android development while contributing to iOS or backend work as needed.
- Design and implement APIs with backend engineering partners.
- Run and instrument experiments involving A/B tests, targeting logic, funnels, and retention.
- Develop scalable application architecture and guide app development and testing strategies.
- Ship iterative MVPs while balancing speed, quality, and customer value.
- Create unit and UI automation tests.
- Lead projects from specification through launch and iteration while mentoring junior engineers.
- Use customer insights, business goals, and data to guide technical and product decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
- At least four years of industry experience building, shipping, and maintaining mobile applications at scale with a strong Android focus.
- Experience owning projects end-to-end and mentoring or guiding junior engineers.
- Fluency in Kotlin and strong knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, and RxJava.
- Experience with modern Android architectures including MVVM, MVI, MVP, or Clean Architecture, and Jetpack components.
- Deep understanding of Android UI frameworks, including XML layouts and Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, Git workflows, automated testing, and mobile release operations.
- Experience with identity verification, authentication, and authorization protocols.
- Ability and willingness to contribute to iOS or backend development.
- Familiarity with mobile analytics, feature flags, and A/B testing frameworks is preferred.
- Comfort using AI coding tools and agents in development workflows.
- Strong product judgment, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
