Responsibilities
- Build and maintain custom modular WordPress themes using Advanced Custom Fields flexible content blocks.
- Perform WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates across client sites.
- Develop and QA conversion-focused landing pages with functional forms, tracking, and CRM connectivity.
- Configure lead magnets, quizzes, funnels, chatbots, and related conversion assets.
- Set up website, CRM, and marketing-platform integrations using APIs, webhooks, and automation tools.
- Implement pixels, conversion tracking, and UTM structures in coordination with performance marketing teams.
- Translate Figma designs into clean, responsive WordPress builds in collaboration with designers.
- Support and optimize Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, and other page-builder sites.
- Troubleshoot front-end and back-end issues and use AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building custom WordPress themes with Advanced Custom Fields flexible content blocks.
- At least 3 years of experience with APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms such as Zapier or Make.
- Working knowledge of Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or similar WordPress page builders.
- Experience with conversion rate optimization and marketing-oriented website development.
- Ability to use AI as a development tool while applying manual oversight and maintaining quality.
- Comfort working with Figma and Adobe products including XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Ability to manage multiple client projects and communicate with technical and non-technical teammates.
- Preferred qualifications include Laravel, Google Tag Manager, GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign, Unbounce, ClickFunnels, copywriting, and basic design experience.
