Base Salary
$63k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, unit test, integrate, maintain, and document software applications.
- Develop backend data processing, frontend web interfaces, analytics, visualization, and distributed mission-critical applications.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle, including software/hardware integration, requirements derivation, architectural modeling, and technical analysis.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical problems and develop resolutions.
- Participate in peer reviews, code inspections, technical decisions, and multidisciplinary collaboration with program leadership and customers.
- Support program execution and ensure work products meet technical, cost, schedule, quality, and software-process requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, preferably Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Data Science, obtained by the start date.
- Knowledge or proficiency in Java, Python, C++, Ada, scripting, Swing, JavaFX, and Red Hat Linux.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required; an active and existing Secret clearance is required after day one.
- Preferred experience includes DOORS, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Coverity, Collaborator, JIRA, GitLab, Airflow, MLflow, Kubeflow, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred background includes real-time or distributed systems, data pipelines, AI/ML integration, cloud services, defense-related projects, and mission domains such as sensor systems or command-and-control.
