Responsibilities
- Design and write software using RxJava and/or Kotlin.
- Collaborate with mobile and backend engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers to build features.
- Participate in code and design reviews and maintain high development standards.
- Identify and implement scalable, performant solutions for complex consumer and partner problems.
- Own projects end to end while meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design, implement, instrument, and deploy reusable Android components.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve ambiguous business, legal, and product needs.
- Participate in interview loops and support hiring efforts.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to peers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years specializing in Android.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, system internals, CI/CD pipelines, and app observability tools such as crash analytics and remote debugging.
- Experience managing end-to-end features for large-scale applications.
- Analytical, critical-thinking, design, accountability, and clear English communication skills.
- Familiarity with applying Generative AI tools to enhance productivity.
