Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and infrastructure teams to help AI models build platforms for Android, Linux, Zephyr, and FreeRTOS.
- Analyze and optimize embedded code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and participate in code reviews.
- Set direction and goals, lead major initiatives, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and onboard new team members.
- Architect efficient and scalable systems for complex applications.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues and reduce technical debt.
- Analyze low-level engineering challenges, construct evaluations and trajectory data for model training, and identify model improvement opportunities.
- Establish end-to-end ownership of components, features, or systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of embedded software engineering experience, including C or C++ development for resource-constrained systems.
- Experience developing and debugging software across embedded platforms, RTOS environments, and Linux or AOSP application processors.
- Experience writing device drivers or hardware abstraction layers for sensors, power management ICs, displays, and communication buses including I2C, SPI, UART, and USB.
- Experience building telemetry, logging, or monitoring infrastructure for embedded-system health and production diagnostics at scale.
- Experience developing automated embedded-system test infrastructure, including hardware-in-the-loop testing, on-device automation, or embedded-target CI pipelines.
- Experience debugging cross-layer embedded issues with JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, or static analysis tools.
- Preferred experience integrating AI tools into embedded development workflows, evaluating AI coding-assistant output, and applying prompt/context engineering or agent orchestration.
- Preferred experience with responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
- Preferred experience with Android, Linux, or RTOS kernel internals and device-driver development across common subsystems.
- Preferred experience collaborating with silicon or chipset vendors on firmware bring-up, reference-design adaptation, and hardware-errata mitigation.
