Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines across enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, data warehouses, and analytics environments.
- Develop reusable integration frameworks, transformation logic, validation processes, and monitoring capabilities.
- Deliver secure and scalable integration solutions for business initiatives, system implementations, data migrations, and platform upgrades.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical outcomes.
- Contribute to testing, automation, CI/CD practices, data quality, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the data platform.
Requirements
- Experience in data integration, ETL/ELT development, data engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, data warehouses, and/or data lake environments.
- Experience with integration and data platform technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, AWS Glue, Informatica, Snowflake, SSIS, Talend, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar platforms.
- Ability to develop integrations across APIs, web services, cloud platforms, databases, and JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet, and Avro formats.
- Knowledge of data transformation, mapping, validation, reconciliation, metadata, lineage, governance, and data quality practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud environments.
- Experience with Python, SQL, PySpark, Java, or similar programming and scripting technologies.
- Understanding of source control, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, access controls, encryption, privacy requirements, and secure data management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Advantageous experience with Apache Spark, dbt, Kafka, real-time and event-driven integration, Infrastructure as Code, cloud automation, platform engineering, Power BI, Tableau, Agile, DevOps, or ITIL environments.
- A degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous; relevant technical certifications are also advantageous.
- Successful applicants must hold NV-1 Security Clearance.
