Base Salary

$104k - $109k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to design, build, and operate innovative products and services.
  • Design and develop scalable solutions using cloud-native architectures and microservices in large distributed computing environments.
  • Build and maintain resilient, scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective distributed systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Write clean, maintainable code using software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Participate in an agile development environment using CI/CD principles and operational responsibilities including on-call duties.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to demonstrate operational excellence.
  • Design, develop, and test software components that interact with fulfillment-center robotics, material-handling equipment, computer vision, and cloud services.
  • Leverage and contribute to GenAI and AI-powered tools that improve development productivity.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript is required.
  • Experience with data-structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles is required.
  • Previous technical internship or demonstrated project experience is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, database systems, AI development-productivity tools, open-source projects, and/or version-control systems is preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with robotics, computer vision, machine learning, optimization, manipulation, perception, motion planning and controls, movement, autonomous navigation, path planning, or related areas is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, written communication, and verbal communication skills are preferred.
  • Applicants should be able to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and have a basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Benefits

  • Full-time, in-office internship or co-op schedule Monday through Friday, typically up to 40 hours per week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Summer intern and spring/fall co-op opportunities may be available across Robotics teams, with location and start-date preferences considered but not guaranteed.
