Base Salary
$153k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build automated, safe-by-default security tooling, guardrails, and controls for engineering teams.
- Design and implement scalable security systems for cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with engineering and security teams to deploy security enhancements and control changes.
- Investigate and respond to security events and improve security practices with development teams.
- Conduct threat modeling, architectural reviews, simulated attacks, and security assessments of third-party integrations and AI tools.
- Communicate vulnerabilities and remediation techniques while guiding and educating development teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a security-related role, including at least 2 years focused on cloud security.
- Strong expertise securing AWS and Azure cloud platforms and familiarity with AWS IAM, EC2, VPC, ECR, ECS, and EKS.
- Strong understanding of Azure security services and foundational knowledge of GCP.
- Proven experience with a CNAPP or similar cloud security tool, such as Wiz, Orca Security, Lacework, or Upwind.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or Go, for automation.
- Knowledge of least privilege, defense-in-depth, security monitoring, threat modeling, and architectural review processes.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with GCP, OCI, and multi-cloud networks and infrastructure is preferred.
