Responsibilities
- Administer Ubuntu and RHEL Linux environments, including shell configuration, users, permissions, and systemd services.
- Develop automation and process information using Python and Bash, including consuming REST APIs.
- Manage clusters and containers using Rancher.
- Work with Azure DevOps and Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
- Participate in vulnerability-scanning pipelines, basic CVE remediation, QA sign-off workflows, and compliance processes.
- Work with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Requirements
- Experience or knowledge in shell configuration and Linux administration with Ubuntu or RHEL.
- Knowledge of user and permissions management and systemd services.
- Python skills for automation, REST API consumption, and data processing.
- Bash skills for shell scripting and task automation.
- Knowledge of Rancher for cluster and container management.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Git workflows.
- Knowledge of vulnerability-scanning pipelines, including G2G, SAST, and DAST, plus basic CVE remediation.
- Familiarity with QA sign-off workflows and compliance.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
