Responsibilities
- Design and scale secure, high-traffic distributed systems for the internal Cloud & Platform.
- Ensure the availability and continuous improvement of platform processes and components.
- Diagnose production incidents and propose prevention, detection, and recovery improvements.
- Apply engineering standards and automate operational tasks to reduce risks associated with changes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external providers when required.
Requirements
- Experience in backend development and collaborating on API design.
- Experience operating and diagnosing distributed systems in production.
- Solid knowledge of HTTP, TLS, TCP, and DNS.
- Experience with at least one public cloud provider, such as AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of automation and infrastructure as code.
