Responsibilities
- Analyze data flows and use cases to identify exposure risks and prioritize prevention controls.
- Investigate data-exposure incidents, determine root causes, and translate findings into technical improvements and preventive controls.
- Design the architecture of Leak Prevention solutions, including components, integrations, and security and scalability criteria.
- Build, test, and integrate data-protection controls across applications, endpoints, data platforms, cloud services, and AI/LLM workflows.
- Develop Python and SQL/BigQuery automations to detect exposures and support remediation.
- Evaluate technologies through proofs of concept, prioritize the backlog, and measure coverage, effectiveness, false positives, and remediation times.
Requirements
- Academic training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional cybersecurity experience.
- Practical experience implementing DLP controls and security solutions from proof of concept through production.
- Knowledge of EDR and frameworks including NIST and ISO 27001.
- Experience applying prompt engineering and AI tools to support code development while considering data-exposure risks.
- Programming experience with Python, SQL querying in BigQuery, and solution integration through REST APIs.
