Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, implement, test, document, and support security solutions and services across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
- Build organization-wide secure development capabilities, including standardized CI/CD patterns, security tooling, and quality gates.
- Serve as a security technology subject matter expert and provide consulting, technical oversight, and level-four operational support.
- Lead or represent the team in projects, coordinating activities and managing initiatives through successful completion.
- Improve security solutions through automation, innovation, standards, secure-by-default patterns, and collaboration with architecture and operations teams.
- Partner with Security Architects, Service Delivery, Security Operations, Cyber Defense, service owners, and internal technology teams.
- Provide technical leadership, train and mentor staff, and communicate technology issues to senior business and technology leaders.
- Support project and early-life-cycle work outside regular office hours, including possible weekend or late-night work.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in security, DevOps/platform engineering, or software delivery with a strong security focus.
- Hands-on experience designing or operating DevSecOps and secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls and gate checks.
- Practical experience with application and software supply-chain security capabilities such as SAST, SCA/OSS scanning, secrets scanning, DAST, and container image scanning.
- Hands-on cloud security experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, or KSPM capabilities, ideally including Wiz or a comparable platform.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automation such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Experience working in teams, managing projects and initiatives, using change-control processes, and operating in large global virtual environments.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to train and mentor staff.
- Preferred experience includes reusable secure pipeline templates, AI or LLM security workflows, containers and Kubernetes security, policy as code, workflow orchestration, observability, hybrid-cloud connectivity, and service introduction processes.
- Preferred certifications include cloud administration, engineering, or security certifications such as Azure, AWS, GCP, GSEC, or CISSP.
