Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise DevSecOps frameworks, best practices, and Infrastructure as Code automation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls and standardize release and deployment processes.
- Secure AWS and Azure environments through cloud security controls, IAM, secrets management, privileged access controls, network architecture, and container security.
- Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanning into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with developers to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Establish secure coding standards, conduct security reviews, enforce compliance policies, and secure Docker environments.
- Develop monitoring, observability, SIEM integration, security alerting, threat detection, and operational and security dashboards.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Support SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and similar compliance initiatives through assessments, audits, documentation, and reporting.
- Partner with engineering, security, architecture, and operations teams; mentor teams on DevSecOps practices; and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Track security KPIs and risk metrics and drive continuous improvement in software delivery processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or Security Engineering.
- Experience managing enterprise CI/CD environments and implementing security controls in cloud-native architectures.
- Strong automation skills, cloud architecture expertise, troubleshooting ability, risk assessment and governance experience, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, CISSP, CEH, and Certified DevSecOps Professional.
