Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and scale reliable, secure, and performant cloud infrastructure.
- Build and optimize automated build, testing, and deployment workflows using CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate manual processes through infrastructure as code, scripting, and other automation.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and incident response processes.
- Optimize infrastructure performance, utilization, and cloud costs.
- Implement infrastructure security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Create developer tools, processes, and infrastructure that improve developer productivity.
- Troubleshoot production infrastructure issues, investigate incidents, and deliver long-term reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with software engineers on features, architecture, and evolving infrastructure needs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar infrastructure-focused role.
- Strong experience managing cloud infrastructure, ideally with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking, Linux systems, cloud security, and infrastructure best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting production systems and improving reliability.
- Preferred experience in early-stage or high-growth startups, SaaS platforms, data-intensive applications, AI/ML infrastructure, customer-managed cloud environments, BYOC architectures, SOC 2 compliance, distributed systems, databases, high-volume data processing, or internal developer platforms.
- Strong ownership, independence, communication, and collaboration skills.
