Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated security controls to detect and mitigate malicious traffic in real time.
- Develop efficient, scalable, and high-performance Go microservices.
- Apply language models to detect anomalous patterns and improve security-threat contextualization.
- Drive security improvements that strengthen resilient, observable, and secure platforms.
- Contribute to early detection and response for new web attack vectors in collaboration with security and infrastructure teams.
- Perform code reviews and design and implement functionality that improves solution security and availability.
Requirements
- Strong backend development experience with Go and microservices architecture design.
- Advanced knowledge of web threats, including fingerprinting, scanners, malicious automation, and control-evasion techniques.
- Experience applying language models or machine learning to automated-traffic detection and analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud computing services such as AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency in software engineering practices including automated testing, observability, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices.
