Responsibilities
- Design and implement tools and services that improve platform and ecosystem reliability and resilience.
- Design and implement agentic products that scale the site reliability engineering team’s work across the organization.
- Develop platform tools and products that automate and scale operational tasks and reliability practices.
- Collaborate on reliability delivery exercises and performance modeling by analyzing systems, applications, and platform components.
- Participate in technical rotations for critical incidents and post-incident analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to develop tools and services that improve system availability.
Requirements
- Strong backend development skills using multiple programming languages to support the organization’s ecosystem.
- Knowledge of observability, instrumentation, and tools for analyzing and resolving technical incidents.
- Solid knowledge of microservices architectures and scalability strategies.
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of computing infrastructure and distributed traffic management.
- Experience with chaos engineering, load shedding, self-healing, or AI-based agentic platforms is especially valued.
