Base Salary
$170k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive, secure-by-default protections across the stack.
- Provide practical security guidance on new products and technologies.
- Lead design reviews and threat modeling for high-impact features.
- Build and scale security tooling for automated detection and response.
- Evolve detection and incident response capabilities.
- Partner across business functions to strengthen company-wide security.
- Protect SeatGeek from abuse and bots at the edge and app layers.
- Lead and participate in notable security incidents and improve processes.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a positive security culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience across multiple security domains.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or C#.
- Track record of partnering across product, platform, and business functions.
- Proven ability to deliver holistic, scalable prevention across security domains.
- Ability to think like both an attacker and a defender.
- Community contributions and hands-on bot/abuse mitigation experience are a plus.
