Responsibilities
- Own and lead quality for health and fitness features from early development through release.
- Design and build scalable test infrastructure, frameworks, and automation systems.
- Profile system-level performance, including memory and power characteristics.
- Use Generative AI to develop tools and processes for quality assurance.
- Analyze algorithm performance and telemetry to contextualize customer experience.
- Validate hardware/software integration, ideally involving sensors.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop effective feature validation strategies.
- Influence engineering direction across teams and understand build and release processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software quality, systems, or infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, Swift, Objective-C, or C++.
- Understanding of system-level performance characterization, including memory and power.
- Experience designing and building test infrastructure, frameworks, or automation systems at scale.
- Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- Preferred experience using Generative AI for test development and analysis, validating sensor-related hardware/software integration, and working with build/release systems.
