Responsibilities

Own and build backend services powering real-time optimisation and forecasting for industrial battery systems.
Develop and deploy mixed-integer optimisation algorithms for real-time data processing.
Build frontend dashboards for battery operators to monitor and control assets.
Design and scale distributed infrastructure supporting deployments across thousands of battery systems.
Collaborate cross-functionally to define and iterate product features based on deployment feedback.

Fluent or near-fluent German is required.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering with strong academic results is required.
Experience working at an early-stage startup is required.
Full-stack experience building and shipping production applications is required.
Frontend proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript, React, preferably Next.js, and Tailwind CSS is required.
Strong Python backend development skills, including optimisation or forecasting systems experience, are required.
Hands-on experience designing and operating scalable distributed backend systems is required.
Understanding of database design and data modelling, including PostgreSQL or MySQL, is required.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and production deployment practices is required.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry is required.
Cloud infrastructure experience with one or more of AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
Prior energy industry experience or production optimisation deployment experience is preferred.
