Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build cloud-native SaaS solutions for enterprise-scale workloads.
- Architect and implement distributed systems and microservices focused on reliability, performance, and security.
- Develop and operate Kubernetes-based containerized services.
- Design and optimize data models, storage layers, and database performance.
- Integrate AI services and agentic workflows into core platform capabilities.
- Contribute to technical design reviews, code reviews, and engineering practices.
- Drive monitoring, observability, automation, and CI/CD operational excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, AI engineers, and SRE teams on end-to-end solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience focused on backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-based SaaS platforms.
- Experience designing distributed systems and microservice architectures.
- Deep knowledge of AWS and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Experience integrating AI services or working with AI-powered applications in production.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive complex technical initiatives.
- Preferred: experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform, production AI/ML workloads, agentic systems, AI orchestration frameworks, RAG architectures, LLM-based applications, observability tools, infrastructure-as-code, automation, security, compliance, and enterprise-scale software.
