Responsibilities
- Operate and progressively migrate the Google Workspace-native prototype estate, including Apps Script, Drive, Docs/Sheets/Slides APIs, locally scheduled jobs, and Claude Code agent tooling.
- Re-architect Hive Mind into a resilient AWS or GCP platform with HA, DR, SLOs, observability, and production ownership.
- Build the agentic runtime and evaluation harness, including orchestration, multi-model routing, tool, MCP, and plugin integrations, evaluation gates, judge calibration, cost controls, and red-team testing.
- Build responsible-AI and model-governance controls for hallucination, bias, drift, output validation, guardrails, provenance, and complete logging.
- Build governed data infrastructure with immutable audit trails, versioned evidence, reproducible pipelines, and source-to-report traceability.
- Engineer encryption, key and secrets management, least-privilege access, sensitive-data handling, residency, and retention controls.
- Stand up production-grade CAAT and continuous-monitoring data foundations supporting full-population analytics and real-time exception streaming.
- Own infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, identity, networking, observability, cost controls, runbooks, and platform examinability.
- Collaborate with auditors and internal stakeholders while maintaining and improving the inherited platform.
Requirements
- 7+ years building and operating resilient backend or platform systems in production, including long-term on-call ownership.
- Proven experience migrating founder-built or prototype systems to production while they remain in daily use.
- Strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals, fluent Python, strong SQL and data modeling, and proficiency in TypeScript/Node or Go.
- Demonstrated experience building model-agnostic agent orchestration, model routing, multi-provider evaluation, agent SDK integrations, MCP servers, agent tooling, and red-team harnesses.
- Experience with responsible-AI controls covering hallucination, bias, drift, output validation, guardrails, and logging.
- Data engineering experience with provenance and lineage, plus security and data-protection engineering involving encryption, identity and access management, secrets, and retention.
- Experience with AWS or GCP, Terraform, CI/CD, high availability, disaster recovery, SLOs, observability, automated testing, and documentation.
- Ability to operate in locked-down enterprise environments with TLS-intercepting proxies, endpoint detection and response tooling, restricted installs, security guardrails, and OAuth admin consent.
- Experience translating audit needs into systems, explaining technical risk to non-engineers, and driving adoption.
- Preferred experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks, MCP servers, plugin development, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google model ecosystems.
- Preferred experience with AI governance or model-risk programs, including the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
- Preferred experience with continuous auditing or continuous-controls monitoring, streaming and real-time data, statistical anomaly detection, applied machine learning, vector stores, retrieval, or LLM cost engineering.
- Experience with external audit, SOC 2, SOX, crypto or blockchain, regulated financial services, fintech, or crypto is helpful but not required.
