Responsibilities
- Design and develop Go-based microservice applications.
- Design interfaces for Backend for Frontend layers.
- Design interfaces between microservices using Protobuf, gRPC, or GraphQL.
- Develop highly agile frameworks using code generation and templates for rapidly launching customer BFF applications.
- Implement directory services, a proprietary database, and gateways required for ERP systems.
- Develop the Tailor Platform platform layer and individual application BFF layer.
- Lead by example in a hands-on technical leadership capacity while contributing to team product development.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing web applications with Go or a similar language.
- Experience designing interfaces for Backend for Frontend systems and interfaces between microservices using Protobuf, gRPC, or GraphQL.
- Experience designing and developing applications based on requirements and performing performance tuning.
- Experience with standardization and open-source product or OSS activities.
- Experience leading a team technically as a tech lead or lead engineer; experience as a team manager is also accepted.
- Experience as an Individual Contributor specialist.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Japanese written and verbal communication skills are required; some assignments may require written English communication.
- Business English is preferred.
- Front-end development experience with React and TypeScript is preferred.
- Strong Japanese written and verbal communication skills, including JLPT N1, are preferred.
