Base Salary
$94k - $156k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and optimize secure software solutions in AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle cloud environments.
- Develop and integrate cloud-enabled applications and services for enterprise migration and mission-critical Air Force systems.
- Implement automation for provisioning, configuration, security, and monitoring using DevOps practices.
- Define and engineer solution capabilities that satisfy customer requirements and service delivery objectives.
- Support application onboarding, deployment activities, cloud configuration, and integration across technologies and platforms.
- Participate in customer-facing engagements and technical discussions with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
- Apply engineering methods, design approaches, and research techniques to complex cloud, hardware/software interface, and application requirements.
Requirements
- Meet the applicable education and experience requirement for the junior, mid, senior, or SME level: high school diploma and 1–3 years for junior; bachelor's degree or equivalent certification and 4 years for mid-level; bachelor's degree or equivalent certification and 8 years for senior-level; or master's degree or equivalent certification and 16 years for SME-level.
- Have software engineering experience, including at least 1 year for junior-level roles and at least 4 years for mid-level roles.
- Hold an active Secret security clearance.
- Hold a DoD 8570-compliant CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Have experience with IBM Maximo custom development and integration.
- Have experience developing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems using AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
- Have experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server and Oracle development, including PL/SQL, packages, and triggers.
- Have software development experience and knowledge of Java and J2EE frameworks.
- Preferred qualifications include Air Force or DoD cloud program experience, Azure cloud experience, GitLab CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance, Apache NiFi, SAML-based authentication, OIDC, and OAuth2.
- Additional desired experience includes Agile methodology, extreme programming, product management, or software products.
