Base Salary
$94k - $156k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and optimize secure software solutions across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle cloud environments.
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain cloud-based applications and services supporting enterprise migration and mission-critical Air Force systems.
- Support onboarding cloud-enabled applications and deployment activities.
- Engineer solution capabilities that satisfy customer requirements and service delivery objectives.
- Implement automation for provisioning, configuration, security, and monitoring using DevOps practices.
- Participate in technical discussions and client-facing engagements with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Develop and apply engineering methods and solutions for complex cloud requirements, hardware/software interfaces, applications, and integrations.
Requirements
- Junior-level candidates must have a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of experience; mid-level candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification and 4 years of experience; senior-level candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification and 8 years of experience; SME-level candidates must have a master’s degree or equivalent certification and 16 years of experience.
- Experience in software engineering and developing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems is required.
- An active Secret security clearance is required.
- A DoD 8570-compliant CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
- Experience with IBM Maximo custom development and integration, IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle development, Java, and J2EE frameworks is required.
- Desired qualifications include U.S. Air Force or DoD cloud program experience, Azure cloud experience, GitLab CI/CD pipeline experience, Apache NiFi, SAML-based authentication, OIDC, OAuth2, and experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, product management, or software products.
