Base Salary
$149k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performance software for large-scale evidence ingestion.
- Lead technical projects from concept through launch and ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the group.
- Define technical vision, architecture, roadmaps, and technical backlog priorities.
- Lead architecture reviews, review pull requests, and write design, library proposal, and technical vision documents.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Engineering Managers, Directors, and Staff Engineers.
- Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes across the group.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience designing and delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based systems.
- Full-stack development experience with Go, Scala, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
- Experience with realtime streaming event logs or messaging technologies such as Kafka or ActiveMQ.
- Strong backend engineering, multi-cloud architecture, system design, communication, and technical leadership skills.
- Preferred experience with React, mobile development, and automated testing or API testing using Selenium, Puppeteer, or Playwright.
