Base Salary
$88k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, modify, implement, and support new and existing applications.
- Provide Tier 2 support, troubleshoot production incidents, and drive improvements across systems and interfaces.
- Deliver new features, project-based work, and migrations of legacy applications to modern infrastructure.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate processes and goals into practical technical solutions.
- Define technical tasks, estimates, timelines, and dependencies, and communicate project status, risks, and deliverables.
- Build secure, scalable, maintainable software and modernize codebases to supported versions.
- Participate in peer code reviews, continuous testing, secure coding practices, and on-call support.
- Mentor junior team members and maintain technical skills through continuous learning.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience using Java.
- Working knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, API development, web-enabled applications, and relational databases.
- Ability to create and execute JUnit test cases with a focus on continuous testing.
- Experience with Agile methodology using Scrum or a similar approach.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing and JIRA.
- Strong communication, collaboration, continuous-improvement, and long-term planning skills.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems is preferred but not required.
- Experience with COBOL, Angular, and OutSystems is a plus.
