Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive security operations strategy.
- Evaluate and implement emerging security technologies.
- Design, implement, and fine-tune advanced detection mechanisms.
- Continuously tune alerting rules to reduce false positives.
- Perform forensics and lead response efforts during security incidents.
- Drive the advancement of detection and automation initiatives.
- Manage security event monitoring and response workflows.
- Author runbooks and build SOAR capabilities.
- Develop standard operating procedures for service quality.
- Support ongoing security compliance and audit programs.
Requirements
- 6+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on detection and response.
- Technical proficiency in protecting on-premise and cloud environments.
- Experience with network security at scale.
- Familiarity with Detection as Code workflows.
- Strong expertise in incident handling and forensic investigation.
- Knowledge of the modern cyber threat landscape.
- Experience integrating AI into response workflows.
- Expertise in Python scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Docker.
- Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows/Mac environments.
