Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend features, APIs, and business logic for AI agents.
- Build integrations with ERPs, banks, CRMs, and other finance data sources.
- Create and maintain ETL processes for reliable data flow into the database.
- Optimize backend systems for high-volume AI queries.
- Take ownership of large areas of the backend with autonomy.
Requirements
- 2+ years of backend engineering experience delivering production systems.
- Strong experience building REST APIs and working with databases.
- Comfortable building integrations and reading API documentation.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and schema design.
- Excellent problem solver with a creative approach to technical challenges.
- Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership.
- Experience with financial systems or fintech products is preferred.
- Familiarity with data warehouses and ETL tools is a plus.
