Responsibilities
- Determine test approaches and scope for features at the epic and project levels.
- Create and maintain test cases, test documentation, and project test plans covering scope, assumptions, risks, and schedules.
- Analyze project changes to determine relevant functional and non-functional testing requirements.
- Execute QA activities according to standard operating procedures and provide feedback to improve processes.
- Debug reported issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution of medium-complexity problems.
- Translate user stories into testable requirements and report test execution status.
- Support team initiatives, lead small improvement efforts, and coach newer team members.
- Represent the team in routine client and organizational communications.
Requirements
- University degree with 2–4 years of experience in the domain, or a master's/graduate degree with 0–2 years of domain experience.
- Proven documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of software QA engineering tool sets.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF tools.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis, debug failures, manage workload, improve processes, and work effectively on a team.
- Basic leadership and project management skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients.
- Preferred experience includes quality assurance activities, customer service, process improvement, renewable energy or utilities, and work with a U.S.-based company.
