Senior System and Application Engineer

- Design, implement, and unit test software solutions for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and IoT solutions on existing and upcoming SoCs.
- Design software fixes for customer-reported bugs and enhancements to existing features.
- Debug customer-reported issues across various platforms.
- Provide technical support during customer evaluation and integration of NXP wireless connectivity solutions.
- Work with Marketing, Sales, and Field Application Engineers to understand customer use cases and requirements and influence next-generation products.
Requirements
- Master’s-level degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field, with 6+ years of experience.
- Strong experience with embedded systems, RTOS, Linux operating systems, and kernel internals.
- Required experience with C programming and debugging.
- Strong understanding of networking components such as TCP/IP.
- Background in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or 802.15.4 protocols is a significant advantage.
- Experience with ARM processor architecture is required.
- Experience with SDIO, PCIe, or USB bus interfaces is preferred.
- Ability to independently manage requirements, design, implementation, and testing while working cross-functionally.
- Effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
