Responsibilities
- Design and develop the STACKIT Distributed Cloud private-cloud offering.
- Build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud products for customers.
- Automate and continuously optimize technical processes.
- Conduct problem and error analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
- Work with and contribute to open-source projects in the NeoNephos cloud-computing community.
Requirements
- 7+ years of development experience with Go or similar languages such as Rust, C, C++, or Python.
- Proficiency in cloud-native application development and deployment using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Understanding of distributed application development and deep knowledge of the CNCF cloud-native landscape.
- Skill with communication frameworks and protocols such as gRPC.
- Solid understanding of software design and architectural patterns and a hands-on problem-solving approach.
- Cloud network protocol and API knowledge, including CNI, eBPF, BGP, and DNS, is a plus.
- Experience developing Kubernetes operators is a plus.
- Familiarity with Talos Linux, Cilium, CoreDNS, Ceph, and OpenBao or Vault is a plus.
