Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and record COBOL programs in a CICS/VSAM/JCL environment.
- Understand design and requirements to develop and execute custom application features.
- Break down requirements into MVPs and stories based on the BRD.
- Create estimates for small to medium size projects.
- Develop high-level designs and analyze code as per specifications.
- Follow standards and controls to ensure quality outcomes.
- Support production deployment and post-development implementation activities.
- Participate in crisis calls for production incidents and perform application support.
- Identify and work on system performance improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in development and maintenance of medium to complex banking applications.
- Strong knowledge of the VisionPLUS product.
- Hands-on experience with the CMS module.
- Proficient in COBOL and CICS.
- Familiar with mainframe technologies such as Endevor, Changeman, and batch scheduling.
- Experience in design and development of medium complex problems.
- Good knowledge and experience of DevOps and Agile disciplines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
