Base Salary
$80k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop applications for managing business content used for modeling and rating in collaboration with product teams and customers.
- Design, develop, implement, test, and support software products for business areas.
- Build Python backend applications using AWS services including Lambda Functions, API Gateway, SageMaker, and S3.
- Develop front-end applications using Angular or React.
- Deploy products using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps practices.
- Build and maintain pipelines for developing, implementing, executing, validating, monitoring, and improving data science solutions.
- Identify technical problems and develop long-term, repeatable solutions that meet customer needs.
- Apply user-experience best practices and test design standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a software engineering role for non-entry-level positions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with one or more of Python, JavaScript, Go, or Java.
- Experience developing solutions on AWS or other distributed compute platforms.
- Experience with deployment automation technologies such as Terraform or Scalr.
- Experience with Docker, EKS, or other web server technology.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.
- Experience with CI/CD systems, preferably GitLab or GitHub.
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies and languages.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to apply appropriate technology to solve problems.
