Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and strengthen security features across FaceTime, SharePlay, Phone, and Voicemail.
- Build protocols, frameworks, and daemons using Swift and Objective-C with a focus on secure system design.
- Perform code reviews to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to communications features used by millions of customers.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Solid software development and system design skills focused on secure system design.
- Experience developing for the Apple ecosystem and proficiency in object-oriented programming with Swift or Objective-C.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices, security protocols, and encryption techniques.
- Familiarity with peer-to-peer or client-server architecture and network protocols.
- Experience with secure communication protocols and handling untrusted data.
- Clear communication, collaboration, and self-directed problem-solving skills.
