Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant infrastructure for web services and ML workloads.
- Operate production systems, troubleshoot incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, observability, and incident response improvements.
- Develop workflows and tooling for CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, infrastructure automation, and deployment.
- Improve reliability, availability, scalability, and performance across inference, model training, and platform environments.
- Enable replication of work environments across multiple HPC clusters and support reproducible AI/ML experiments.
- Build a cloud-agnostic platform that abstracts infrastructure complexity for science and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with software engineers, AI/ML researchers, and security teams, and document operational processes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role, with strong expertise in cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with site reliability issues, production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and on-call rotations.
- Experience with reliability KPIs, observability, alerting, and SLAs.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash and strong understanding of software development best practices.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with AI/ML environments, HPC systems, or modern AI-oriented solutions such as Fluidstack, Coreweave, or Vast is preferred.
