Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and continuously improve important infrastructure services.
- Translate requirements into designs aligned with team and company goals.
- Implement and support CI/CD toolchains for systems security programs.
- Implement monitoring, policies, procedures, and standards related to systems security.
- Develop test strategies, automation frameworks, and unit and functional tests.
- Analyze, design, and develop test cases and automated test suites.
- Participate in sprint planning, demos, and daily scrum activities.
- Apply engineering best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and concepts using languages such as Java, C++, C#, or Python.
- Fluency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
- Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and testing pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, networking, server, and cloud architectures.
- Preferred: experience with Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Preferred: experience with AWS or another cloud PaaS provider.
- Preferred: experience with containers and orchestration services such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Preferred: understanding of DNS, load balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, and SQL.
