Base Salary
$178k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to real production technology projects supporting QRT’s research, trading, and investment activities.
- Build and improve trading, analytics, risk, reporting, and execution systems.
- Design, test, and integrate FPGA systems using SystemVerilog, C++, and Python.
- Support security engineering, investigations, vulnerability research, and security automation.
- Investigate hardware and Linux performance, test system configurations, and improve infrastructure reliability.
- Work with experienced engineers, quantitative developers, researchers, and traders on defined technical problems.
Requirements
- Be a penultimate- or final-year student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Security.
- Be on track for a 2:1 or above from a leading institution.
- Show interest in software engineering, security, infrastructure, or FPGAs and demonstrate hands-on technical problem-solving experience.
- Have proficiency in C++, C#, Python, or SystemVerilog.
- Have familiarity with Bash, Git, SQL, GCC, and Linux.
- Be curious, proactive, self-motivated, thoughtful, and comfortable taking ownership of problems.
