Base Salary
$60k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain firmware targets for new products.
- Adapt and validate firmware for new hardware platforms.
- Develop low-level embedded firmware using C/C++ with memory management and register-level programming.
- Work with peripheral interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART, and GPIO.
- Debug firmware using JTAG, debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on board bring-up and hardware-software co-debugging.
- Perform daily firmware builds and validations.
- Support firmware releases and deployment activities.
- Publish release notes and track firmware changes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and hands-on embedded systems and firmware development experience.
- Experience with board bring-up, hardware-software debugging, and low-level programming.
- Strong understanding of embedded C, memory management, and register-level programming.
- Experience with peripheral interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, and GPIO.
- Ability to debug firmware using JTAG, debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Ability to clear a Codility assessment.
- Experience in an EDK2/UEFI-like C/C++ firmware environment.
