Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve the development fleet, including vehicle build, tooling, driving, and testing.
- Support hardware requirement definition and verify that requirements are fulfilled.
- Maintain and improve vehicle systems across software and hardware components.
- Troubleshoot low-level hardware, sensor setups, vehicle communication streams, and software integration issues.
- Develop hands-on tools to improve software-hardware workflows and data handling.
- Calibrate sensors and support their integration into vehicles.
- Collaborate with function owners to plan and conduct test drives.
- Support the transfer of machine-learning solutions into vehicles and real-world products.
Requirements
- Experience debugging vehicle setups involving Ethernet and Vehicle CAN streams.
- Good programming skills in Python and C++; Rust knowledge is a plus.
- Class B driving license issued by an EU member state.
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience or training as a test driver and proficiency in German are preferred.
- Experience with machine learning, radar, lidar, camera, vehicle sensor data, team-based software development, autonomous driving, or ADAS is advantageous.
