Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve the development fleet, including vehicle builds, tooling, driving, and system maintenance.
- Support hardware requirement definition and verification.
- Troubleshoot low-level hardware, vehicle sensors, software, and vehicle communication streams.
- Develop tools that improve software-hardware workflows and data handling.
- Calibrate sensors and support their integration into vehicles.
- Coordinate and conduct test drives with function owners.
- Support transferring machine-learning solutions into vehicles and real-world products.
Requirements
- Experience debugging vehicle setups using Ethernet and Vehicle CAN streams.
- Good programming skills in Python and C++; Rust knowledge is preferred.
- Class B driving license issued by an EU member state.
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience or training as a test driver and proficiency in German are preferred.
- Machine-learning, radar, lidar, camera, vehicle sensor-data, team-based software-development, autonomous-driving, or ADAS experience is preferred.
