Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality AI tools and applications for workforce use.
- Modify free and open-source software to support customer use cases.
- Engage customers, elicit requirements, and develop solutions for their needs.
- Maintain customer-facing infrastructure and applications in production.
- Lead AI Tools and Applications initiatives and coordinate work across integrated teams.
- Conduct one-on-ones and provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members.
- Serve as the team point of contact for contract administration.
- Define solutions for complex and underspecified systems and requirements.
- Establish technical policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Drive adoption of new technologies and practices across engineering teams.
- Implement and oversee monitoring, logging, and observability for AI services.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and security of software components.
- Communicate with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or an additional four years of experience in place of the degree.
- At least 12 years of software development experience.
- Expertise in UI/UX principles and mastery of Python.
- Significant experience using LLMs in a code solution workflow and developing and maintaining production software.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, containerization, and SRE best practices.
- Willingness to learn, lead a team, and manage multiple junior developers.
- Strong communication skills, curiosity, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud service providers and Argo CD or other CI/CD frameworks.
